''Achromobacter xylosoxidans'' (formerly ''Alcaligenes xylosoxidans'') is a Gram-negative, aerobic, oxidase- and catalase-positive, motile bacterium with peritrichous flagella, from the genus ''Achromobacter''. It is generally found in water environments.
